Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge for rest and briefing. Accommodation: Arusha Coffee Lodge

Day 2: Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Camp (2,850m)

Hike through lush rainforest on a steep, wild trail to Umbwe Camp. Accommodation: Umbwe Camp

Day 3: Umbwe Camp to Barranco Camp (3,900m)

Ascend into moorlands with spectacular views of Mount Meru, then settle at Barranco Camp. Accommodation: Barranco Camp

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp (3,995m)

Climb the Barranco Wall, then trek across valleys to Karanga Camp for acclimatization. Accommodation: Karanga Camp

Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (4,673m)
