Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your lodge in Arusha. Rest, recover, and attend a pre-climb briefing with your guide.

Day 2: Londorossi Gate to Shira 1 Camp (3,500 m)

Drive to Londorossi Gate for registration before starting the hike through rainforest and moorland. Arrive at Shira 1 Camp with tents ready and dinner served.

Day 3: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp (3,850 m)

Continue across the expansive Shira Plateau, enjoying views of Mount Meru. Optional acclimatization walk in the afternoon.

Day 4: Shira 2 to Lava Tower (4,600 m) to Barranco Camp (3,900 m)
